Itoou, operated by ObjectOrient, explains here how personal data is collected and used so you can make informed choices when using the Platform.

You control much of what you share — profile details, listings, location preferences, and messages. Please review this Policy alongside our Terms, Community Guidelines, and Safety Tips.

• Provide listings, Bucks matching, swaps, chat, and notifications
• Estimate item value and condition using Itoou AI, and adjust suggested Bucks for condition and the time in use you enter
• Generate optional used-market price research (and a brand-new / retail reference) from India listings when enabled
• Rank nearby listings using location you provide
• Prevent fraud, enforce policies, and keep members safe
• Improve product performance and reliability
• Comply with legal obligations

4. Location Data

City and state may appear on your public profile or listings. On public listings, visitors who are not signed in see only city and state — not your precise pincode. Precise coordinates, when used, support distance-based browse radius and are not sold for advertising.

You can update location preferences in your profile. Some features require location to work as intended.

5. Itoou AI Image Processing and Market Research

Listing photos may be sent to third-party AI providers (such as Google Vertex AI) for Itoou AI valuation — including suggested categories, condition labels, authenticity signals, and Bucks estimates.

When market price research is enabled, we may send product details derived from your listing (such as title, brand, category, and condition) to perform web-grounded research (for example via Google Search grounding) to estimate used-market price ranges in India, plus a brand-new / sealed retail reference where available. Results are shown during listing and may be stored as a snapshot on the listing record. Snapshots are not live prices and are not refreshed automatically.

We use these outputs to power listing forms and matching. We do not use your images to train public models without your consent.

6. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information.

• The public, including visitors who are not signed in and search engines: content in public listings (photos, title, description, condition, Bucks range, and approximate city/state) and public profile fields. Members-only listings are not shown to signed-out visitors.
• Other members: public profile fields and active listings
• Infrastructure providers: hosting, database, email, SMS, object storage — under contractual safeguards
• AI providers: image analysis and optional web-grounded market research only
• Law enforcement or regulators: when required by law or to protect safety
• Business transfers: merger, acquisition, or asset sale with notice where required

7. Retention

• Account data: until deletion, then up to 30 days for backup purge
• Listings: until removed, then up to 90 days in backups
• Trade messages: up to 12 months after trade completion
• Logs and analytics: typically 12–24 months, then aggregated or deleted

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, or restriction of processing.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to our service, such as encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring.

No online service can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and for the information you choose to share with other members.

10. Children

The Platform is not directed to anyone under 18. We delete accounts we learn belong to minors.

11. Changes

We will post updates here and notify you of material changes before they take effect when practicable.
