How we keep the marketplace trustworthy
Effective 19 June 2026 · Last updated 19 June 2026
These materials are provided to help you use Itoou safely and responsibly. They are for member awareness and platform transparency — not legal, financial, or professional advice. You are responsible for your listings, trades, and interactions with other members.
Our standard
Itoou works when members trade honestly and respectfully. Behind every listing is a real person — treat them that way.
Listings
- Only list items you own and can deliver
- Describe flaws, damage, and missing parts clearly
- Enter honest condition and time in use — these adjust the suggested Bucks value
- Use your own photos — no stock images or stolen pictures
- Keep Bucks ranges fair; do not inflate value to win swaps
- Public listings are visible to anyone on the web — only include details and photos you are comfortable sharing publicly, or set the listing to members-only
Communication
- Be polite and respond within a reasonable time
- Decline offers respectfully if you are not interested
- No harassment, threats, slurs, or discrimination
- Keep swap discussions on-platform until a trade is agreed
Trades
- Honor accepted swaps and communicate delays promptly
- Meet in safe public places for local exchanges
- Pack shipped items securely and share tracking when applicable
Not allowed
- Fraud, fake listings, or bait-and-switch tactics
- Off-platform payment demands before completing an agreed trade
- Spam, bulk solicitation, or duplicate listing abuse
- Multiple accounts, impersonation, or trust-score manipulation
- Prohibited items listed in our Terms of Service
Reporting
Use Report on any listing, profile, or message thread. We review reports as quickly as possible.
False reports made in bad faith may result in account action.
Enforcement
- Warnings and required acknowledgments
- Temporary suspensions
- Permanent bans for serious or repeat violations
- Referral to law enforcement when warranted
